Feature Re-cap:At the start of the 50-lap feature it was Davenport who took the early lead over Simpson, McCreadie, Marlar and Thornton. Marlar and Thornton push McCreadie back in the running order by taking third and fourth respectively on the second circuit.

Thornton’s march was not done as he passed Marlar for third on lap 3 then moved around Simpson for the runner-up position on lap 4. A lap 5 caution for an entanglement involving Tyler Erb, Dennis Erb Jr. and Junghans slowed the pace of the race.

On the lap 5 restart, Madden broke into the top-5 then proceeded to get by Marlar for fourth soon afterward. However, Davenport was speeding away from the pack having built a lead of more than two seconds until he made contact with the slowing car of Daulton Wilson on lap 16.

Davenport continued in the lead after the mishap while Wilson pulled off the track.

The lap 16 restart saw Simpson and Marlar get around Thornton for second and third. Davenport’s car showed no ill effects from the contact with Wilson as he again pulled away from his pursuers. At the halfway mark, Davenport led Simpson, Marlar, Thornton and Madden.

A caution for the slowing car of Bronson restacked the field on lap 26. Madden moved around Thornton to claim fourth on the restart as Davenport continued to lead Simpson then a fierce battle throughout the remainder of the top-10.

McCreadie took fifth from Thornton on lap 31 but Davenport had again built an advantage of more then two seconds.

McCreadie continued to rise as he moved all the way up to third with less than 10 laps remaining. Gustin was also making moves as he too entered the top-5 with the laps clicking away. McCreadie grabbed second but Davenport was too far in front.

In the end, it was Davenport who drove under the checkered flag to score the victory.
