Wilson powered by McCreadie for the lead on the second lap. Wilson began to pull away by lap 5 but McCreadie closed back in when the lead duo caught the tail of the field.
McCreadie caught and passed Wilson for the top spot at the race’s halfway point. Moran drove up to the rear spoiler of Wilson on lap 15 and moved around for the runner-up position. But Wilson fought back to retake the position one lap later.
