Feature Re-cap: At the start of the 30-lap main event it was Cole Macedo who took the early lead with Sweet, Bayston, Gravel and Scelzi trailing. Bayston grabbed second away from Sweet on the second lap as the drivers made their way around the rough track that had been saturated with rain the day before.

Bayston quickly wrested the lead of the race away from Macedo who then began to fall back in the running order. Sweet and Scelzi were then left to fight over second place as the leader began to drive away.

A lap 18 caution for Schuchart would erase Bayston’s four second advantage. Officials then decided to turn the caution period into an open red flag condition when it became apparent that drivers were running out of visor tear-offs in the tacky conditions.

When the racing action resumed, Noah Gass went to the high side and began making up positions within the top-10. However, the race would again be halted when Corey Day flipped wildly in turn four on lap 21.

Day walked away from the crash but significant damage had been done to the catch fence, At that time, track and series officials decided that repairs would take too long and opted to call the race official at that point making Bayston the winner.
