Feature Re-cap: At the start of the 40-lap main event it was Clanton who bolted to the lead ahead of Blair, Gustin, English and Erb. On the second circuit, points leader Erb began to fade as he was passed by Eckert and Hollidge for fifth and sixth.

By lap 7, Clanton had pulled away by more than three seconds as the top-5 logged laps around the big half-mile. Eckert moved in to challenge English for fourth on lap 10 with English holding the spot while Clanton began negotiating slower traffic.

A lap 15 yellow flag for Briggs slowed the pace with Clanton leading Blair, Gustin, English and Eckert. Clanton held the lead on the restart while further back, Eckert grabbed fourth away from English.

At the halfway point, Clanton had again pulled away from his pursuers with the front runners stringing out around the track. But as the laps clicked away, Blair and Gustin began to close on Clanton as the top-3 ran in tight formation.

A lap 30 caution for the slowing car of Zeigler again bunched the field. English moved around Eckert for fourth when the green flag was displayed to the field as Clanton pulled away from the pack.

As the laps dwindled, Clanton left Blair and Gustin behind then drove on to the victory.
