Feature Re-cap: The 35-lap feature got underway with Madden jetting to the lead with Thornton, McDowell, Bloomquist and Dillard trailing. McCreadie took fifth on the second lap pushing Dillard out of the top-5.

On lap 6, McDowell got by Thornton for second and set off after Madden until a lap 9 caution for a flat tire on the Davenport car brought out a caution.

On the restart, Thornton moved back to second behind Madden. Further back, Bloomquist slipped out of the top-5 as Shirley and McCreadie went by.

By lap 17, Thornton had made up the distance on Madden and drew right to his rear spoiler. As the two cars began to catch the tail of the field, Madden slipped up the track and opened the door for Thornton on lap 19. The No. 20RT seized the opportunity and grabbed the lead.

But the race was not over. With everyone hugging the bottom lane, the top-3 of Thornton, Madden and McDowell were running in tight formation on lap 25. Ultimately, however, Thornton was able to maintain the lead as he cruised to the win.
