Bobby Pierce dominates Thursday night Group B World 100 preliminary

Bobby Pierce has had an amazing season so far in 2023 and that continued on Thursday night with a win in the Group B World 100 preliminary at Eldora Speedway.

Feature Re-cap: The 25-lap feature began with Sheppard leading McCoy, McCreadie, Madden and Pierce. Koehler spun just after the completion of the first lap to bring out a yellow flag. Sheppard continued to lead with McCreadie and Pierce both passing McCoy for second and third after the restart. 

Pierce went by McCreadie for second after slide job swapping fight. Madden and Feger rounded out the top-5.

Pierce continued to march forward when he passed Sheppard for the lead on lap 6. Soon after, the top-2 cars found themselves working through slower traffic as they contested to top spot.

Pierce then began to drive away from his pursuers building a lead of almost 4 seconds by lap 18. Further back, Davenport began to rise as he worked his way into fourth by getting by Madden.

Ultimately, no one could match Pierce as he drove to a dominating victory.
