11th annual Hangover set for January 1-2 at 411

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (December 15, 2020)- Tennessee’s Action Track, 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN, will present the track’s 11th Annual Hangover event over a period of three day on December 31, 2020 and January 1 and 2 of the new year 2021.

Various divisions will be featured over the course of the event, with CT Promotions in charge of the Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified portions of the programs, which will also include racing action for 604 Late Models, 602 Late Models, Sportsman, Classics, B-Hobby/Super Street, and Front Wheel Drives. 

On Thursday December 31, 411 Motor Speedway will swing the gates open at 10:00 a.m. to begin parking tow rigs and race haulers for the weekend along with the track having an open practice later in the day from Noon until 5:00 p.m. Pit passes for the open practice day will be $20, with children ages 5 and under free.

On Friday January 1, 411 Motor Speedway will present the opening day of the 11th Annual Hangover event and racing action that day will see 604 Late Models race for $1,000 to win, 602 Late Models racing for $600 to win, Sportsman racing for $600 to win (Smoky Mountain rules apply), along with the Open Wheel Modified, B-Hobby/Super Street, Classic, and Front Wheel Drive divisions all racing for $500 to win. Gate times on Friday January 1 will see the pit area and tier parking area open at 9:00 a.m. and the general admission area will open at 10:00 a.m. The drivers meeting will be at Noon, with on-track activities set to begin immediately following the drivers meeting. Ticket prices at 411 Motor Speedway on Friday January 1 in the general admission area will be $12, with children ages 12 and under $5. A pit pass and tier parking pass will be $30 per person, with children ages 12 and under $5. 

Lastly, on Saturday January 2, 411 Motor Speedway will present the concluding day of the 11th Annual Hangover event that will feature Super Late Models racing for $5,000 to win, along with Open Wheel Modifieds racing for $1,200 to win. Also on the January 2 Hangover racing card will be 604 Late Models racing for $1,500 to win, 602 Late Models racing for $800 to win, and Sportsman racing for $800 to win (Smoky Mountain rules apply). On Saturday January 2, the pit area and tier parking area will open at 9:00 a.m., with the general admission area opening at 10:00 a.m., while the drivers meeting will take place at Noon, followed immediately by on-track activities. Ticket prices at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday January 2 in the general admission area will be $20, with children ages 12 and under $5. Pit passes and tier parking passes are $35, with children ages 12 and under $5.

CT Promotions will officiate the Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified portion of the weekend’s racing events and will run under Iron-Man rules and procedures. There will be no entry fees for any divisions. The Super Late Model tire rule will be as follows: Hoosier 1350/1600/LM40 or American Racer 48/56 (any of these compounds anywhere on the car; NO droop rule; NO 29.0 size tires allowed on the left-rear). The Open Wheel Modified tire rule will be as follows: Hoosier M30/M60/27.5 Medium/27.5 Hard or American Racer Hard and Extra Hard (the Hoosier Medium/Hard/M60 and American Racer Extra Hard may be used as a right-rear option; NO grooving of tires allowed; siping of tires is allowed). Transponders for all divisions will be available for rent from the track.
