It may have been a cold day, but the racing was as hot as ever on this Saturday night at the Taz. Threatening skies and a cold breeze weren’t about to put a stop to the action tonight as Tazewell Speedway roared back to life after a washout of last weekend.

Brad Davis and Robbie Buchanan shared the front row of the Modified Street feature. The green waved and Davis jumped out front with Buchanan in chase. Tony Horton and David Clark would put on a great show for the fans in attendance as they battled for the third position. Just 10 laps into the event, Davis had already pulled out to a huge lead. The strong run Clark had going came to an end as he pulled into the pit area just past halfway into the event. No one had anything for Davis as he went on to dominate the rest of the way scoring the win.

Keith Chapman and Heath Alvey stole the show as they battled hard for the 5th spot. The action slowed on lap 10 when Adam Mitchell slowed and brought out the caution. Once the green waved again, Chapman and Alvey continued their furious fight for position but it was all in the rear view of Horton as he went on to win Sportsman feature number one.
