Feature Re-cap: The 30-lap main event began with Abreu leading Schuchart, Scelzi, Gravel and Haudenschild trailing. Scelzi passed Schuchart for second on the second circuit. The No. 18 then closed quickly on Abreu to challenge for the lead of the race.

The top-5 of Abreu, Scelzi, Schuchart, Gravel and Haudenschild worked through traffic as the feature approached the halfway mark. Gravel moved into third on lap 17 as Abreu stretched his lead to just over two seconds. Further back, McFadden, Sweet and Schatz were engaged in a fierce battle for positions at the back of the top-10.

However, McFadden would crash on lap 21 bringing out a yellow flag.

After the race went back to green, Abreu continued to lead but Bayston spun to cause another caution on lap 24. On the restart, Gravel jumped to second after a battle with Scelzi.

As the laps clicked away, Gravel closed in on Abreu but was never able to mount a challenge.
