Rich’s Ramblings: Not so much ‘Racing for the sake of Racing’ anymore

Regional racers such as Dakotah Knuckles(21k) and David Payne(8) don’t just race for the sake of racing

From time to time I plan to drop in a brief recording to offer a few thoughts. I plan to make most of these on the way to or from a race track on some topic that may be of interest but not necessarily for a written story.

This offering of Rich’s Ramblings will focus on the fact that over the past few seasons Dirt Late Model teams have become more selective in terms of choosing when and where to race. Where a few years ago, a number of racers simply raced because it was the weekend and they were supposed to go race but that isn’t as true as it once was.
