Landers did not make to the staging area in time to qualify. This was emphasized during the drivers meeting. He had a discussion with WoO officials. He was not DQ’d.

Heat Race Results:

There will be four heats taking the top-4.

Heat 1 finish- 1. Richards, 2. Hill, 3. McIntosh, 4. Eckert. Weaver finished 6th after being called for jumping the initial start and moved back a row. He then battled handling issues.

Heat 2 finish- 1. Clanton, 2. Heckenast, 3. Frank, 4. McDowell

Heat 3 finish- 1. Bloomquist, 2. Ellis, 3. Francis, 4. Wells

Heat 4 finish- 1. Cook, 2. Lanigan, 3. Owens, 4. Smith. Lanigan earned a spot in the redraw with a last lap pass of Owens.

That’s how they will start the feature. No heat races.

10:05- Green flag!

Powell hard into the outside wall in turns one and two on the initial start. Driver appears to be OK.

Lap 4 caution for spin by Gloyin. Hedgecock leads Teague, Henderson, Beeler and Martin.

Caution on the restart as Henderson and Beeler get together on the back stretch. Beeler into the wall. Beeler appeared to go running toward Henderson’s car as the field was parked. Officials stopped him.

Lap 8 caution for Gloyne. Hedgecock still leads but Teague was challenging. Henderson, Martin and Coffey follow.

Lap 20 red flag for wild flipping crash by Edwards. Car came to rest on its top. Driver reported to be OK. Hedgecock still leads Teague, Henderson, Martin, Coffey.

Race will end with a green/white/checkered finish due to time limit.

A thrilling side-by-side finish for the win as Teague got inside of Hedgecock on the last lap.

A big melee broke out at the scales after the race between Henderson and Beeler supporters.
