Live Updates: UCRA from Tri-County Race Track(6-10-16)

InsideDirtRacing.com will be providing live updates from the United Crate Racing Alliance race from the Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC for Friday night, June 10, 2016. Tonight’s updates are being provided by Richard Allen( @RichardAllenIDR on Twitter).

*Please Note: Due to spotty cell phone reception at Tri-County, updates will focus primarily on the UCRA event.

General Information: Drivers meeting is set to begin at 7:00pm with hot laps to take place shortly afterward.

Weather is expected to be very warm and dry.

This will be the first visit to Tri-County for the UCRA.

The four races sanctioned by the UCRA so far in 2016 have been won by two drivers- Riley Hickman(Duck River & Smoky Mountain) and Rusty Ballenger(Thunderhill & Tennessee National).

11:00- Cars are helping to roll in the track after a little prep work.

11:08- Green flag!

Hedgecock pulled off just before the green flag with smoke and sparks coming from under the car.

Hedgecock has returned. He will start in his assigned position.

Lap 6 caution for crash by Deaver. Hard hit into turn one wall. Driver appears to be ok. Deal had pulled out to a good lead over Perry, Brindle, McCarter, Hindman, Hedgecock, Anderson, Trent, Hunter and Ballenger.

Lap 10 caution for crash involving Hedgecock, McAlister and Gant. Hedgecock may have had a left front tire go down before the spin. Deal continues to lead over Perry, Brindle, Hindman and McCarter.

Lap 13 caution for spin by McAlister. Deal continues to lead.

Lap 38 caution. Racing got intense as leaders worked through slower cars. Deal leads Perry, Brindle, McCarter, Hindman, Hunter, Trent.

Deal led all the way but it was not a cake walk, especially when the leaders were in traffic just before that last caution flag.
