These updates are brought to you by Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn. The next event coming to SMS will be the Schaeffer’s Oil Fall Nationals on August 16, 2019.
Classes in action: Southern Nationals for $3,500-to-win(35 laps) as well as Limited Late Models and Sportsman Late Models.
*Please Note: These updates will focus solely on the Southern Nationals race.
General Information:
Weather is expected to be warm with a slight chance for rain.
The drivers meeting is slated for 6:35pm with hot laps to follow soon afterward.
This is the third of an 11-race mini-series. Brandon Overton and Trent Ivey have won the first two Southern Nationals races(Wythe & Cherokee).
Brandon Overton leads the Southern Nationals standings over Jake Knowles, Donald McIntosh, Benji Hicks and Tanner English.
