*Please Note: Due to an early commitment for Sunday morning and the need of the updater to leave the track as soon as possible, these updates will focus solely on the LOLMDS race.

General Information: Drivers meeting is set to begin at 7:00pm.

Weather is expected to be very warm.

Scott Bloomquist leads the LOLMDS standings over Jonathan Davenport, Jared Landers, Brandon Sheppard, Tim McCreadie, Dennis Erb, Jr., Jimmy Owens, Don O’Neal and Earl Pearson, Jr.

Bloomquist has won the last three LOLMDS events.

6:52- Drivers being called to the drivers meeting.

7:15- Hot laps about to begin.

The fastest drivers in each hot laps group were Roberts, Sheppard, Owens and Bloomquist. Roberts was fastest overall with a lap of 15.491 seconds.

Heat Race Results: There will be four heat races with the top-4 transferring to the feature.

Heat 1 Lineup– 1. Roberts, 2. McDowell, 3. Sheppard, 4. Ellis, 5. Erb, 6. Moses, 7. Kerr, 8. Flinner

Heat 1 Finish– 1. McDowell, 2. Roberts, 3. Sheppard, 4. Erb

*McDowell took the lead at the start and led all the way. He is debuting a new Sweet-Bloomquist Chassis here tonight.

Heat 2 Lineup– 1. M Marlar, 2. O’Neal, 3. McCreadie, 4. Lanigan, 5. C Ogle, 6. King, 7. Vosbergen

Heat 2 Finish– 1. O’Neal, 2. McCreadie, 3. M Marlar, 4. Lanigan

*After the initial start was disallowed, O’Neal took the lead on lap 1 and led all the way. The track has been top side dominant so far but Marlar was making up ground on the bottom by the end of the heat.

Heat 3 Lineup– 1. Bloomquist, 2. Davenport, 3. Arp, 4. Landers, 5. Pearson, 6. McIntosh, 7. Vineyard

Heat 3 Finish– 1. Bloomquist, 2. Landers, 3. Davenport, 4. Pearson

*Landers passed both Davenport and Bloomquist on the start. Bloomquist used a slide job on lap 7 to take the lead. The two cars may have made slight wall contact in the exchange.

Heat 4 Lineup– 1. Owens, 2. Madden, 3. Francis, 4. B Ogle, 5. S Marlar, 6. Hickman, 7. Giffin

Heat 4 Finish– 1. Owens, 2. Madden, 3. Francis, 4. B Ogle

*Owens led all the way although under heavy pressure from Madden for most of the distance.

B-Main Results: There will be two B-mains with the top-3 transferring to the feature.

B-MAIN 1 Finish – 1. Ellis, 2. Vosbergen, 3. C Ogle.

*Ellis dominated. The real battle was for the third and final transfer spot as King and Kerr tangled on the backstretch on the last lap after Kerr attempted an outside pass off of turn 2. The crash handed the spot to Chad Ogle.

B-MAIN 2 Finish – 1. Arp, 2. McIntosh, 3. S Marlar

*Arp led all the way.

10:52- Four wide!

10:57- Green flag!

Lap 10 caution free. McDowell leads Bloomquist and Owens.

Lap 20. Still caution free. McDowell leads Bloomquist, Owens, O’Neal, Madden, Landers, McCreadie, Roberts.

Lap 30 caution for third running Owens. McDowell leads Bloomquist, O’Neal, Landers, Madden, McCreadie, Roberts, Davenport, M Marlar, Sheppard, Francis, Erb. Cars have been pretty spread out so far with the best battle being between O’Neal, Landers and Madden for positions 4-6.

Owens appears to be out of the race.

Lap 45- McDowell leads Bloomquist, Landers, Madden and M Marlar.

Lap 49 caution for Madden with what appeared to be a blown tire that sent him into the turn 3 wall. Looks like he is OK. McDowell continues to lead over Bloomquist, Landers, M Marlar, McCreadie, O’Neal, Davenport, Roberts, Francis, Erb, Sheppard, Pearson.

Lap 50 caution as M Marlar slid into the turn 3 wall while racing McCreadie for fourth. Davenport, O’Neal, Roberts and others collected. Still McDowell leading but Landers is now second with Bloomquist, McCreadie and Francis following.

Lap 52 caution for Erb off the pace with possible tire issue. O’Neal rejoined the field at the tail on the last restart.

McDowell was dominant in the new car.
