*These updates will focus on the Chevy Performance Series race. Other updates may be limited in favor of obtaining photos and/or stories. 

General Information: Drivers meeting is slated to begin at 5:30.

Weather forecast calls for clear skies with temperatures in the lower 50s by evening.

The Chevy Performance SLM Series features the use of the Chevy Performance 525 engine.

This is the first race of the season for the Chevy Performance SLM Series.

Ronnie Johnson is the defending series champion.

Lap 7 caution for debris. King#30 leads Hedgecock, Crowder, Busha, Johnson, Knowles, A Martin. King had been pulling away but was just about to catch the tail of the field.

Lap 16 caution for spin by King#55. King#30 leads but Hedgecock and Crowder stayed closer during that run. Busha, Knowles and Johnson follow.

Lap 20 caution for spin. King#30 leads and had pulled away again under that run. Hedgecock, Crowder, Busha, Knowles, A Martin, R Martin, Johnson, Gentry follow.

Lap 44 caution as leader King spins while in traffic and slams tire barrier. Hedgecock now leads over Crowder, Knowles, Busha, Johnson, A Martin, R Martin, Gentry.

*A very popular win as Emert led all the way with Courtney applying pressure on virtually every lap. Courtney pulled alongside in turn 3 on the last lap but Emert held. Race ran caution free.
