Feature Re-cap: When the 30-lap feature took the green flag it was Scelzi leading Holmes, Sweet, McFadden and Gravel. By lap 4, the top-4 drivers were running in tight formation as they began to encounter slower traffic.

The racing at the front of the field got intense at lap 9 when Sweet, Holmes and McFadden engaged in a fierce battle for positions 2-4. McFadden was able to grab second and quickly moved in to challenge Scelzi for the race lead.

On lap 10, Scelzi bounced off the front stretch wall sending him into the path of McFadden. The top-2 cars made contact which sent McFadden spinning as Scelzi continued on.

On the restart, Scelzi continued to lead with Sweet, Holmes, Gravel and Macedo trailing. A lap 13 yellow flag waved when Macedo tangled with Day as those drivers contested the fifth position. Both Macedo and Day would be towed to the work area with significant damage. After furious work by both crews, both drivers were able to rejoin the race.

When green flag racing resumed, Scelzi led Sweet, Holmes, Bayston and Schatz. On lap 17, Haudenschild took fifth from Schatz.

Sweet moved to the lead of the race when he passed Scelzi in traffic on lap 19. Meanwhile, Haudenschild continued to rise as he passed by Bayston for fourth. He then moved in on Holmes and Scelzi, passing both to rise to second on lap 24.

As the leaders worked through slower traffic, Haudenschild closed in on Sweet to fight for the lead. A furious battle ensued with Haudenschild making a move around the outside in turns one and two on the last lap then outrunning Sweet to the finish line to claim the win.

It was the third win of the season for the driver of the No. 17.
