Jonathan Davenport repeats with Lucas Oil win on Friday at Wheatland

Jonathan Davenport made it two in a row on Friday at Lucas Oil

Jonathan Davenport followed up his Cowboy Classic win of Thursday night at the Lucas Oil Speedway with a triumph in the Don & Billie Gibson Tribute on Friday. It was the second of two preliminary events held at the track that will on Saturday night host the $50,000-to-win Show-me 100 under the sanction of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

The Longhorn Chassis driver from Blairsville, Georgia earned $6,000 for his efforts on the track located in Wheatland, Missouri in a race shown live by FloRacing.com.

A total of 57 cars were signed in for competition

Feature Re-cap: Davenport used his outside front row starting position to his advantage by grabbing the lead at the start of the 45-lap feature. McCreadie closed to within a couple of car lengths at the end but the three-time series champion was able to hold off the two-time series champion to score the win.
