A lap 84 caution for debris erased Davenport’s big lead. Wilson continued to run second with Overton, Roberson, O’Neal, Hawkins and Thornton behind. Thornton broke into the top-5 on the restart but a caution for a crash involving Smith brought out another yellow flag on lap 86.

Davenport still led at that time ahead of Wilson, Overton, Thornton, O’Neal Roberson and McCreadie. Thornton moved into a fight with Overton for third after the restart.
