Hudson O’Neal grabbed the lead early in the second feature of the night on Thursday at Eldora Speedway as the racing action winds toward Saturday night’s World 100. The third generation driver once again placed the O’Neal family on the Eldora victory lane stage.
The Rocket Chassis driver from Martinsville, Indiana earned $12,000 for his efforts at the track located in Rossburg, Ohio in a race aired live by FloRacing.com.
Points accumulated on Thursday and Friday will be used to set the heat race lineups for Saturday night’s World 100.
A total of 107 cars were signed in for competition between the two groups,

Feature Re-cap: At the start of the 25-lap feature Clanton and O’Neal crossed the line to complete the first lap in a near dead heat with Ferguson, McCreadie and Weiss following. O’Neal established himself as the lead on the second lap while Smith drove into the top-5 further back.
The top-3 of O’Neal, Clanton and Ferguson spaced about one second apart as they clicked off laps. In a race that ultimately ran caution-free, the ending came quickly with O’Neal cruising under the checkered flag to score the win.
