Hudson O’Neal
Hudson O’Neal led all the way in a ‘Rumble by the River’ preliminary feature that would go caution free in a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned event at Port Royal Speedway.
The Rocket Chassis driver from Martinsville, Indiana earned $5,000 from the track located in Port Royal, Pennsylvania in a race shown live by FloRacing.com.
A total of 52 cars were signed in for competition

Feature Re-cap: At the start of the 25-lap feature it was O’Neal who went to the lead with Cody Overton, Stone, Eckert and McCreadie trailing. Eckert moved forward when he took third from Stone on lap 3. However, the top-2 of O’Neal and Overton were in the process of pulling away from the pack.
McCreadie passed by Stone for fourth on lap 8 as O’Neal maintained a one-second lead over Overton. But O’Neal would run into slower traffic on lap 11 in a race that would ultimately go caution free. O’Neal made a move to split between slower cars that allowed him to open a gap ahead of Overton on lap 12.
Eckert took advantage of slower traffic and got by Overton for the runner-up position on lap 13.
Thornton began to move forward as he broke into the top-5 on lap 16 then passed McCreadie for fourth on lap 18. But at the front, O’Neal was pulling away from the field and would eventually go on to win by more than four seconds.
