SEYMOUR, TN (December 5, 2019)—Officials with 411 Motor Speedway located in Seymour, Tenn. have released details regarding the Tenth Annual Hangover Race set for Thursday December 26, Friday December 27 and Saturday December 28.
With an open practice happening on Thursday, racing officially kicks off on Friday December 27th with the 604 Crate Late Models ($1,000-to-win), the 602 Late Models ($600-to-win), the Classics ($500-to-win), Open Wheel Modifieds ($500-to-win), Front Wheel Drives ($500-to-win) and the B-Hobby/Super Streets ($500-to-win). After Friday’s racing program, an open practice session will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 pm then track prep will start at around 8:00 pm for Saturday’s racing activities.
On Saturday December 28th the Super Late Models will race for an increased purse of $5,000-to-win and 40 laps in the feature event while the 604 Late Models will race for $1,500-to-win, the Open Wheel Modifieds will compete for $1,200-to-win, the 602 Late Models will race for $800-to-win and the Enduro race will finish up the evening’s activities with details to be announced. Scott James of Lawrenceburg, Ind. is the defending Hangover Super Late Model winner.
On Thursday December 26, an open practice session will be held for all divisions from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Adult pit passes will be $20.00 for practice while kids 12 and under are $5.00. Grandstand admission is free for practice. The pit gates will open at 10:00 am on Thursday.
On Friday December 27, the pits will be cleared at 8:00 am and will re-open at 8:30 am, the grandstand gates will open at 9:00 am and the drivers meeting will be at 10:00 am with hot laps to follow at 10:30 am. Adult general admission for Friday’s racing activities will be $12.00 while kids 12 and under are $5.00. Adult pit passes for Friday are $30.00 while kids 12 and under are $5.00.
On Saturday December 28, the pits will be cleared at 8:00 am and will re-open at 8:30 am, the grandstand gates will open at 9:00 am and the drivers meeting will be at 10:00 am with hot laps to follow at 10:30 am. Adult general admission for Saturday’s racing activities will be $20.00 while kids 12 and under are $5.00. Adult pit passes for Friday are $35.00 while kids 12 and under are $5.00.
CT Promotions will once again officiate the Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified portion of the program running under Iron-Man Series rules and procedures. There will be no entry fees for any class except the Enduro event. The Super Late Model tire rule will be as follows: Hoosier 1350, 1600 & LM40 along with the American Racer 48 & 56. The Open Wheel Modified tire rule will be as follows: Hoosier M30s & M60 along with the American Racer Hard and Extra Hard. The M60 and Extra Hard may be used as a right-rear option only. All other track divisions will run off of 411 Motor Speedway rules, regulations and procedures located at www.411MotorSpeedway.net .
