Bobby Pierce won the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series North-South 100 preliminary on Thursday night at Florence Speedway, and on Friday night, he repeated that feat to claim another win. The ‘Smooth Operator’ made a late move to take the lead away from Jonathan Davenport then used the outside wall to keep the car on track.
The Longhorn Chassis driver from Oakwood, Illinois earned $5,000 from the track located in Union, Kentucky in a race aired live by FloRacing.com.

Feature Re-cap: When the 25-lap feature got underway it was
Feature Results: Hedgecock jumped to the lead when the 25-lap feature took the green with Pierce, Davenport, Bronson and Owens trailing. A lap 4 caution for debris regrouped the field.
Davenport took the lead on the restart pushing Hedgecock back to second and Pierce to third. Pierce then moved by Hedgecock to take second on lap 7.
Davenport went about building a relatively comfortable margin by the halfway mark as Owens and Scott closed in on Hedgecock to contest third. Scott went by Owens for fourth on lap 15. Later, Cosner would take fifth from Owens on lap 19.
Pierce grabbed the lead away from Davenport on lap 20. After glancing off the outside wall multiple times, Pierce sailed under the checkered flag to get the win.
