General Information:
2013 SAS champion Riley Hickman leads the current series standings after two races. He is followed by Jason Hiett, Joe Armistead, Jr., Chris Wilson and Bo Shirley.
Riley Hickman won the first SAS race of 2014 at Boyd’s Speedway while Joe Armistead, Jr. won the second outing at East Alabama Motor Speedway.
SAS Supers will lock in the top-8 through qualifying. Two heat races taking the top-7 from each. Two provisionals.
7:15- LLM hot laps just completed. SAS Supers hot lapping now.
Randy Weaver is here racing tonight. He decided to skip the Lucas Oil Late Model Series races this weekend due to an unfavorable weather forecast.
7:45- Doing a little track work. One of the Street Stocks got some fluid in the racing groove.

8:05- Qualifying about to start.
Group A qualifying results: 1. B Ogle(15.885), 2. Hickman, 3. Weaver, 4. Putnam. They will start 1st, 3rd, 5th & 7th in the feature.
Group B qualifying results: 1. Cook(16.113), 2. Payne, 3. Ames, 4. Kerr. They will start 2nd, 4th, 6th & 8th in the feature.
8:55- Heat races rolling out. The top-7 from each will transfer.
Heat 1 finish: 1. M Marlar, 2. Morrow, 3. Douglas, 4. S Marlar, 5. Shirley, 6. Carver, 7. Russell.
Chris Wilson had significant mechanical issues on the last lap. Had been well inside the top-7.
Heat 2 finish: 1. Arp, 2. C Ogle, 3. Wolfenbarger, 4. Moses, 5. Franklin, 6. Sparks, 7. Boles.
Welshan had been running 2nd but crashed after fluid came from his engine.
Welshan and Wilson will receive provisionals.
9:50- Feature rolling onto the track.
Chris Wilson will start a backup car from the Arp/Giffin stable.
10:00- Green Flag!
Wild crash on the first attempt at a start. Tommy Kerr rolled over at entrance of turn 3. He appears to be OK.
Looks like Kerr is having words with Putnam.
10:12- Back to green.
Lap 13 caution for Sparks. Ogle and Cook raced side by side for first two laps before Ogle emerged with the lead. Order now- B Ogle, Cook, Hickman, Weaver, M Marlar.
Lap 14 caution for mechanical issue on Weaver. He’s out.
Lap 30: Field strung out. B Ogle leads Cook, M Marlar and Hickman.
Feature finish- Billy Ogle wins over M Marlar, Cook, Hickman, Ames, C Ogle, Payne, Douglas, Putnam, Morrow.
Marlar got around Cook with two to go. Cook blew a right rear at the finish.
Ogle says traffic gave him a little trouble but biggest problem was not having tear offs left.

Lap 8 caution for Manley in wall. He’s out. Hedgecock leads Martin, Welshan, Giffin.
Hedgecock has to hold off a charging Giffin for the win. Martin, Welshan, Kennedy were 3-5.
