Classes in action: Southern Nationals Bonus Series Super Late Models for $4,400-to-win. Sportsman for $1,000-to-win, Open Wheel Modifieds for $800-to-win.
Please Note: These updates will focus primarily on the Southern Nationals Bonus race with some updates from the other classes being provided when circumstances allow.
General Information: Drivers meeting meeting set for 7:00pm.
Weather is expected to be very warm.
Donald McIntosh currently leads the Southern Nationals Bonus Series standings.
This event is named in honor of the late Buddy Rogers, who passed away from cancer just over 8 years ago. The payout of $4400-to-win is in recognition of his car number- 44.
7:10- Drivers meeting underway.
8:15- The track is prepped and hot laps for all classes are underway.
Vic Hill, driving the car normally piloted by east Tennessee regular John Tweed, was the fastest in Super Late Model hot laps.

Heat Race Results: No heat races will be necessary.
Feature Notes:
10:35- Feature rolling out. 44 laps for $4400.
10:43- Green flag!
R White spins on the backstretch on the initial start. He is given his starting spot back.
Lap 2 caution for a medical emergency in the stands. Hill leads Payne, B Ogle, C Ogle and R White.
10:56- Engines have re-fired. Sounds as if everything is ok regarding the medical emergency.
Lap 17 caution as leader Vic Hill has trouble. Payne will inherit the lead over B Ogle, C Ogle, R White, McIntosh, Knuckles, J Wolfenbarger, T Wolfenbarger.
Hill’s flat has been changed and he’s back on track.
Lap 32 caution as the Wolfenbargers get together. Payne leads but was under assault from B Ogle and C Ogle in traffic. McIntosh runs fourth after a long battle with R White for that position.
Lap 37 caution. B Ogle made a bid for the lead on the last restart but Payne held. C Ogle, McIntosh and R White run 3-5.
Payne was able to keep a safe working margin after the restart as B Ogle, C Ogle and McIntosh had a tight battle for 2-4.
