Volunteer Speedway to host a pair of World of Outlaws races

The World of Outlaws Late Model Series announced Thursday afternoon Volunteer Speedway will host a pair of races on June 19 and 20. The June 19 race will be a $6,000 to win affair while the June 20 race will be a $10,000 to win race. The Bulls Gap, Tennessee track was looking for a new date for their WoO date after March 27th race was postponed due to the Coronavirus shutdown. Now, they will have two races. The Volunteer races replace the postponed races at Genesee Speedway and Sellingsgrove Speedway.

The World of Outlaws also announced the races scheduled for Cochran Speedway on June 12 and 13 have also been postponed.

The Iron Man Championship Series race originally scheduled for Volunteer Speedway will be rescheduled. The track and series are looking for a suitable date.
