One of the most successful pairings in recent Dirt Late Model racing history will come to an end in the near future after it was announced on Wednesday that Tim McCreadie’s time as the house car driver for North Carolina-based Longhorn Chassis will close when the curtain falls on the 2023 campaign.
Together Longhorn and the Don and Gena Bradsher-owned No. 39 car with McCreadie as the driver have won the last two Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season titles along with scores of feature events. Currently fourth in the overall standings, the 49-year-old pilot from Watertown, New York is still in contention for a third points championship under the new Chase format being employed by that national tour this year.
No immediate plans for the future were announced by Longhorn.
