Tazewell Speedway Features Dollar Dawg Night & Full Racing Program(4-25-15)

TAZEWELL, TN (April 20, 2015)—The 50th Anniversary celebration continues this Saturday Night April 25th at Tazewell Speedway with a Weekly Racing Program for all divisions. This will also be the first of three Dollar Dawg Nights at the concession stand this season.

 

This week’s weekly racing program features racing in all five divisions. The Limited Late Models, Late Model Sportsman, KDRA Super Stocks, Four Cylinders and Classis cars will all be on the racing card. The Sportsman and Classics will have make-up features from the April 18th rainout.

 

Last week’s (April 18) winners included Josh Collins of Powell, Tenn. who got his first win of the season at Tazewell Speedway. Brad Davis of Tazewell notched his first win of the season in the Super Stocks while Bubby Braden of Luttrell, Tenn. claimed the Four Cylinder main event win. The Classic and Late Model Sportsman feature was rained out and will be run on April 25th.

 

On Saturday April 25 at Tazewell Speedway, the pit gates will swing open at 4:00 pm, while the main grandstand gates open at 5:00 pm. The driver’s meeting will be at 7:00 pm and hot laps will roll out at 7:30 pm. Grandstand Admission is only $10.00 (Children the age of 9 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult) while Pit Admission is $25.00 and $15.00 for children 12 and under.

 

Coming up on Saturday Night May 2nd will be the first-ever appearance by the Ray Cook-promoted Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals Series by Schaeffer’s Oil. The Super Late Model event will pay $6,000-to-win and $500-to-start and a full racing program for the other Tazewell Speedway divisions will be on tap.

Going north on US 25-E, turn right and then left onto Bacchus Rd, and then 1.8 miles north, then .8 miles west and the race track is located on the left.
