Feature Re-cap: At the start of the 70-lap main event Winger bolted to the race lead with English, Gustin, Clanton and Moran in tow. Gustin went to second by passing English. Soon after, Clanton also got by English to grab third.

Winger pulled out to a lead of almost two seconds as a hornet’s nest of activity played out behind him. English continued to fall back when Moran passed by for fourth on lap 23.

Gustin tracked the leader down and swept by to claim the top spot on lap 32. At that point, Gustin led Winger, Clanton, Moran and Feger.

On lap 57, Moran made a big move as he split between Clanton and Winger to climb into the second spot.

After several caution-free laps in which the front runners logged laps, English began to move back toward the front as he passed Feger for fifth. A lap 59 caution reset the field and set off a string of yellow flags. On the restart, Winger went too high and drove off the track losing several positions.

Moran came to the pit area for a tire change under caution giving up his second position.

On the restart, Pierce challenged Gustin for the lead while English continued to come to life as he went to the low side of the track moving to third. Gustin would then drop out with mechanical issues. Continuing to run the extreme bottom line, English was able to edge ahead of Pierce and eventually just nip Pierce at the finish line for the win.
