Sweetheart Race at 411 Features Open Wheel Special

Modifieds will be part of the show at 411

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY – February 5, 2020 – 411 Motor Speedway will present The Annual Sweetheart Race at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN on Saturday February 15. CT Promotions will handle the officiating for the Open Wheel Modified portion of the program.
The Sweetheart event will feature the Open Wheel Modifieds racing for $1,200-to-win and $100-to-start in their main event. Also, The Sweetheart racing program on Saturday February 15 will feature 604 Late Models racing for $2,000 to win, along with 602 Late Models racing for $800 to win. Other divisions in action at The Sweetheart on Saturday February 15 will be Classic Race Cars ($500 to win), B-Hobby/Super Street ($500 to win), Front Wheel Drive ($500 to win), and an Enduro ($1,000 to win, based on 40 entries). The 604 Crate Late Model, 602 Late Model, Classics, B-Hobby/Super Street, Front Wheel Drive, and Enduro divisions will race under 411 Motor Speedway rules and those division rules can be found at www.411motorspeedway.net and by contacting tech director Joe Byrd at (865) 776-1798. In addition, all divisions in competition at 411 Motor Speedway must have window nets on the cars, drivers must wear gloves, and all drivers must have a working RACEceiver (NO exceptions to these rules). There are no entry fees, with the exception for the Enduro division, which will have a $50 entry fee. ​
Activities for The Sweetheart at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday February 15 will see the pit area open at 8:00 a.m., with the general admission also opening at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday February 15. The drivers meeting will take place at 10:30 a.m., with practice laps, time trials, and green-flag racing to follow. Ticket prices for The Sweetheart at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday February 15 in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, with children ages 12 and under $5, while a pit pass and/or tier parking will be $35 for adults, with children ages 12 and under being $5. ​
CT Promotions will officiate the Open Wheel Modified portion of The Sweetheart racing program on Saturday February 15 and the Open Wheel Modified will race under the rules of the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series. The Open Wheel Modified tire rule will be as follows: Hoosier M30 or M60 and American Racer Hard and Extra Hard. The Hoosier M60 and American Racer Extra Hard is an option on the right rear of the cars and all tires can be siped, but no grooving of any tire is allowed. ​
Clayton Miller of Elkton, KY would be in victorious in the Open Wheel Modified portion of The Sweetheart event in 2019, which was also officiated by CT Promotions. Miller would take the victory over Amos Bunch of Wartburg, TN, Adam Strickler of Batavia, OH, Josh Henry of Newport, TN, and Glen Hounshell, Jr. of Cartersville, KY. ​
