Special Events Slated All Over East Tennessee on Saturday Night

There will be no shortage of big racing events across east Tennessee on Saturday night, August 10th. No matter what part of the region a racing fan might be from, there will be something going on at a track nearby.

There will be plenty of opportunities for east Tennessee fans to catch racing action on Saturday night

411 Motor Speedway: The Seymour, Tenn. track will be hosting the Dylan Kennedy Memorial event on Saturday night with the Topless Outlaws Dirt Late Model Series for steelhead powered cars serving as the headline race. That feature will pay out $3,700 to the winner with the fast qualifier receiving $137.

It will be a busy night at 411 with the Sportsman Late Models, Modified Street/Super Street, Classics, Front Wheel Drive, and Street Stocks all in action as part of this event.

I-75 Raceway: The track located near Sweetwater, Tenn. will host the Red Clay Nationals Summer Sizzler for 602 Late Models with a payout of $1,500 going to the eventual winner.

Limited Late Models(the top finishing Sportsman Late Model entrant will receive a $200 bonus), Thunder, B-Sportsman, A-Hobby, B-Hobby, Four Cylinder and Front Wheel Drive classes will be on the jam packed agenda on Saturday evening.

Tazewell Speedway: The United Championship Racing Alliance will hit the high banks of the Tazewell Speedway on Saturday night. The Crate Late Model machines will race for a $3,000 first prize.

Along with the UCRA touring series there will be racing action in the Sportsman Late Model, Classics, Street Stocks and Four Cylinder classes on the track located in upper east Tennessee.

Volunteer Speedway: The track located just off of I-81 in Bulls Gap, Tenn. will bring in the American Crate All-Stars Series for a feature race that will pay $2,000 to its winner.

Sportsman Late Models, Modified Street, Classics, Street Stock and Mini Stock divisions will all be in competition on the high banked red clay of Volunteer on Saturday night.

Wartburg Speedway: The facility located in Wartburg, Tenn. will offer up the Brucebilt Iron-Man Modified Series on Saturday evening with a check valued at $1,200 going to the winner.

The Sportsman Late Models, Dwarfs, Pony, Street, Thunder, Mod-Mini and Front Wheel Drive divisions will join the Modifieds on the quarter-mile red clay of Wartburg.
