Feature Re-cap: At the start of the 40-lap feature Clanton took the lead with English, Erb, Bruening and Gundaker trailing. Erb looked to move forward on lap 2 as he challenged English for second in a battle that carry on for several laps before Erb would capture the position.

On lap 11 Clanton began to encounter slower traffic which then served to tighten the front runners. Bruening took third away from English on lap 15 thne Erb closed in and began to stalk Clanton for the race lead.

Josh Richards spun on lap 20 to bring out the first yellow flag of the night. On the ensuing restart, the top-3 of Clanton, Erb and Bruening quickly separated themselves from the pack with Bruening working on Erb for second. However, a spin by Greseth on lap 29 again re-set the field.

On the lap 29 restart, Marlar moved to fourth. At that point the battle raged between the front runners as Erb took on Clanton for the lead while Marlar pulled alongside Bruening for third. As the laps clicked away, Marlar eventually took third from Bruening and Erb was able to get into side-by-side formation with Clanton but never could complete the pass.

It was Clantons first World of Outlaws win of the season adding to the $40,000 XR Super Series triumph on the Belleville(KS) High Banks from back in June.
