SAS’ Shamrock moved to Boyd’s Speedway

In a move not entirely unexpected, Southern All-Stars officials have announced this year’s Shamrock event has been moved to Boyd’s Speedway on March 22. The race was originally scheduled for Cleveland Speedway. But with Cleveland Speedway in limbo in bankruptcy court, the facility is not expected to be open any time soon. SAS officials patiently awaited some resolution on Cleveland Speedway before making a venue change. A recent bankruptcy proceeding did not produce anything new on the fate of Cleveland Speedway and the decision was made to move the race to another location. The race will now pay $5,000 to win.
