Feature Re-cap: When the 30-lap feature got underway, Thornton went to the early lead with O’Neal, Marlar, Whitener and Norris in his tire tracks. Marlar immediately went on the offensive when he lunged forward to grab second from O’Neal on the third circuit.

Marlar employed an outside line around the track as he worked to charge further forward when he challenged Thornton, who was running the bottom line, for the race lead on the third lap. McCreadie began to rumble further back when he jumped into the top-5 on lap 10 by passing Norris.

McCreadie moved in to contest the fourth position with Whitener until a caution flag came out for Montgomery. On the ensuing restart, Marlar assumed the lead while Whitener joined the fray by jumping up to third.

A caution came out on lap 17 when Wilson slipped off track. That restart allowed McCreadie to capture second. That move set up a great three-way fight for the lead between Marlar, McCreadie and Thornton that would go on for some time.

Over the closing laps, McCreadie separated himself from Thornton and then moved in to issue a challenge to Marlar for the lead but the Thursday night winner proved to be too strong as Marlar sailed under the checkered flag to claim the win.
