Live Updates: WoO Late Models at The Dirt Track(11-3-17)

Classes in action: World of Outlaws Late Models for $12,000-to-win(50 laps), WoO Sprint Cars, DirtCar Big Block Modifieds.

*These updates will focus solely on the WoO Late Models.

General Information: Drivers meeting is scheduled for 3:00pm.

Weather is expected to be partly cloudy with daytime highs in the 70’s and nighttime lows in the 50’s.

This is the final weekend of the 2017 World of Outlaws season.

Night two will take place on Saturday.

Brandon Sheppard currently leads the WoO Late Models standings over Chris Madden, Shane Clanton, Devin Moran and Rick Eckert.

3:10- Drivers being called to the drivers meeting.

5:00- Racing action has begun with the Big Block Modified B-mains. Late Model heats are next.

Lap 17 caution for McMillan into turn two wall. Marlar leads Owens, D Erb, Richards, McDowell, Sheppard, McCreadie, H O’Neal, Clanton, Shirley, Madden. Leaders had been racing in heavy traffic before the caution.

Davenport has retired for the night.

Lap 23 caution for Covert. Marlar still leads Owens, D Erb, Richards, McDowell, Sheppard, Shirley, Clanton, Madden

Sheppard made an incredible late charge. He passed Marlar on the outside on lap 47 for the lead.

It was Sheppard’s 18th WoO Late Models feature win of 2017.
