These updates are brought to you by Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn. The next event coming to SMS will be the Smoky Mountain Spring Showdown Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals on April 13, 2019.
Classes in action: Ultimate SLM Series for $10,000-to-win. Crate Late Models, Sportsman Late Models, and Open Wheel Modifieds will also be in action.
*Please Note: These updates will focus solely on the Ultimate SLM race.
General Information:
Weather is expected to be warm with only a slight chance for showers.
The drivers meeting is slated for 6:30 with hot laps to follow soon afterward.
This will be the first race of 2019 held at Volunteer Speedway.
Michael Page won the first Ultimate SLM race of the season at North Georgia Speedway while Dunstim Mitchell claimed the win at County Line Raceway.
After two races, defending series champion Zack Mitchell leads the standings ahead of Daulton Wilson, Michael Page, Dustin Mitchell and Jason Hiett.
