Classes in action: Spring Nationals Super Late Models for $5,000-to-win(40 laps) along with Sportsman, Classics, Four Cylinders and Pure Streets.
*Due to spotty cell reception at Tazewell, these updates will primarily focus on the Spring Nationals event.
General Information: Drivers meeting is slated for 7:00 with hot laps to begin soon thereafter.
Weather is expected to be pleasant.
Tazewell Speedway is a very high-banked third-mile clay oval.
This is the third race for the Spring Nationals in 2018. Scott Bloomquist and Dale McDowell were the winners of the two features held at Senoia(GA) Raceway on the last weekend in March.
Scott Bloomquist leads Clint Smith Zach Leonhardi, Eric Wells and Shane Clanton in the Spring Nationals standings.
This is the first of a two-race weekend for the Spring Nationals with a $10,052-to-win event at Volunteer Speedway set for Saturday night.

A very entertaining race with Knuckles and Wells swapping the lead a couple of times in the late laps. McIntosh charged from seventh and challenged Knuckles for second until Knuckles got the top groove working and swept to the lead on lap 35.
