Classes in action: Spring Nationals Super Late Models for $6,000-to-win(50 laps) and the regular classes from the track.
*These updates will focus solely on the Spring Nationals event.
General Information: Drivers meeting is slated for 6:30 with hot laps to begin soon thereafter.
Weather is expected to be very warm.
This is the final race in the Spring Nationals series. Defending champion Donald McIntosh enters the race with a big lead in the 2016 standings.
Mike Marlar has won the last two Spring Nationals events(Boyd’s & Dixie)
7:00- Drivers meeting complete.
8:10- Super Late Model hot laps underway.
Essentially all Donald McIntosh has to do to clinch his second Spring Nationals title is to take the green flag in the feature.
8:45- SLM qualifying coming up next.

11:15- Feature lined up on the front stretch. 50 laps for $6000.
11:18- Four wide!
11:21- Green flag!
Caution as field was about to complete lap 1. Big crash at start/finish. Marlar, Ogle, Millwood, Hill, Payne among those involved.
Looks as if no official lap was scored. Marlar, Millwood and Hill appear to be done for the night.
Lap 13 caution for Thurman stopped on track. Davenport had a huge lead and was cruising. Roberts, Croft, Winger, McDowell, C Smith, Madden and Knowles follow.
Lap 22 caution as Winger spins while involved in hard racing with Madden for 5th. Davenport again had a big lead over Roberts, Croft, McDowell, Madden, C Smith, Ellis, Knowles and Hiett.
Lap 42 caution for crash by Ellis. Davenport had driven away from a good battle between Madden and Roberts for second. Croft, McDowell, Hiett follow.
Madden has a flat tire. He’ll have to go to the pit area.
McIntosh clinches the title.
