Classes in action: Super Late Models for $4,000-to-win(40 laps), Crate Late Models for $1,500-to-win, Sportsman for $600-to-win and other classes.

*These updates will focus primarily on the Super and Crate Late Models with other updates provided as timing of events allows.

General Information: The drivers meeting is slated to begin at 6:00pm with racing action to follow soon afterward.

Weather is expected to be cool and dry.

6:40- Drivers meeting underway. Drivers meeting was delayed due to track prep that was needed due to rain that had fallen this morning.

8:30- Super Late Model qualifying underway.

Heat Race Results: There will be two heat races with the top-8 from each transferring to the feature.

*McDowell led all the way. Morrow slowed and brought out a caution on lap 3. The top-3 were very tight at the finish.

Heat 2 Lineup- 1. Ogle, 2. Gifford, 3. Welshan, 4. Hickman, 5. Buckingham, 6. Moses, 7. Oliver, 8. Ashby, 9. Perry

*Ogle led all the way. There was a lap 3 caution after Welshan jumped the cushion then slowed. Only 8 cars made the call to start the race.

10:26- Feature rolling out. 40 laps for $4000.

10:36- Green flag!

Lap 11 caution for Gifford slow on track. Overton leads over McCreadie, Marlar, McIntosh, McDowell, Ogle, Hickman, Hiett, Buckingham.

Battle at the front was intense in traffic. McCreadie passed Marlar for second one lap prior to the caution.

Lap 14 caution as Overton slows from the lead. McCreadie takes the top spot ahead of Marlar, McIntosh, McDowell, Ogle, Hickman. Possible right front suspension damage on Overton.

Lap 17 caution as Ogle slows from 6th. McDowell jumped from 4th to 2nd on the last restart. It’s McCreadie, McDowell, Marlar, McIntosh, Hiett, Buckingham, Page, Hickman

McCreadie pulled away over the final 10 laps. McDowell and Marlar battled hard for second until Marlar fell back in the closing laps. Tires were beginning to give up late.

Crate Late Models

Feature Notes:

11:00- Feature rolling out. 25 laps for $1500.

Everyone except Kennedy and Lowe crashed in turn one on the first lap. Hunter appeared to spin and everyone else was collected. Hunter and Pritchard are definitely out. Others may be as well.

Perry slows with a flat tire on the second attempt at a start.

Two cars spin on the third attempt at a start.
