General Information:
Drivers meeting is set for 7:00pm with hot laps to follow soon afterward.
Weather is expected to be warm with virtually no chance for rain.
Brandon Overton is the defending Southern Nationals champion.
Vic Hill has won the Southern Nationals race at Wythe on three different occasions, including in 2017.
7:41- Drivers meeting has concluded. Hot laps will begin soon.
8:00- Hot laps for all classes are underway.

Lap 14 caution free so far. McDowell leads Overton, Buckingham and Wells in heavy traffic.
Lap 14 caution for spin by Coulter as it looks as if he has mechanical issues. McDowell leads Overton, Buckingham, Wells, Hill, Casebolt, Ridley, Franklin, Bailes, Pursley, Roberts.
Lap 24 caution as fifth running Casebolt gets into the turn three wall. McDowell leads Overton, Buckingham, Wells, Hill, Ridley, Bailes, Franklin, Pursley, Roberts.
Second running Overton slows and retires on lap 28. McDowell with a sizable lead over Buckingham, Hill and Wells.
Lap 43 caution for Joyce in the turn 2 wall. The yellow negated a big lead by McDowell. Buckingham, Hill, Wells, Bailes, Pursley, Roberts, Ridley, McIntosh, Franklin round out the top-10.
Lap 50 caution for flat tire on Buckingham, who had faded to fourth. McDowell again had a big lead over Hill, Wells, Bailes and Roberts.
McDowell was untouchable, especially after Overton fell out.
