General Information: 

8:00 – Hot laps about to begin

Drivers meeting is set for 7:30 central.

Weather is expected to be warm and clear.

Brandon Overton leads the Southern Nationals standings over Shanon Buckingham and Donald McIntosh.

Heat Race Results: There will be four heat races with the top four from each transferring to the feature.

Heat 1 Finish- 1. Vosbergen 2. Buckingham 3. Trent 4. Boles  *Vosbergen led all the way but Buckingham closed in late

Heat 2 Finish- 1. B Ogle 2. Payne 3. Barton 4. Henderson  *Ogle led all the way. Best race was between Henderson and Neubert for the final transfer spot.

Heat 3 Finish- 1. McIntosh 2. Knuckles 3. Hill 4. Collins  *Knuckles took the lead on the start but McIntosh passed him on a late race restart.

Heat 4 Finish- 1. Overton 2. B Smith 3. Neely 4. C Ogle  *Overton Dominated

B-main Results: There will be one B-main with the top six going to the feature.

B-main Finish- 1. Overholt 2. Fields 3. S Smith 4. Neubert 5. Skelton  *A crash on the initial start eliminated all but 5 cars.

11:29- Green flag!

Lap 14- Caution for Barton. Macintosh leads after making aggressive moves to get by Vosbergen on lap 12. Order is Mcintosh, B Ogle, Overton, Vosbergen, Knuckles, Buckingham, Payne, Trent.

There is a medical emergency in the pit area.

Driver Chicky Barton was injured when the drive shaft broke on his car. He was awake and talking with safety personnel as hey tended to him.

Lap 36- Caution for flat tire on Henderson. McIntosh leads but was under heavy pressure from Overton. B Ogle is 3rd followed by Knuckles, Buckingham, Payne, and Vosbergen.

Caution on the restart for a spin involving Boles.

Lap 49- Overton passed McIntosh for the lead with an outside move in turn 4 as they raced traffic.
