These updates are brought to you by Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn. The next event will be the Smoky Mountain Spring Shootout for the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series paying $10,053-to-win on May 8, 2021.
General Information:
Weather is expected to be mild with very little chance for rain.
The drivers meeting is slated to begin at 7:00pm with hot laps and racing action to follow soon afterwards.
The feature race will be 50 laps for $5,000.
This is the ninth race of the season for the Southern All Stars.
There have been eight different winners in the eight races held so far in 2021.
Payton Freeman won the most recent SAS race held at Tennessee’s Clayhill Speedway.
Riley Hickman, who now promotes Boyd’s Speedway, was the winner in the last SAS race held at Boyd’s.
Payton Freeman leads the the SAS standings over Billy Franklin, Mark Dodson, and Josh Putnam.
