Live Updates: Scott Sexton Memorial at 411 Motor Speedway(5-31-21)

InsideDirtRacing.com will be providing live updates from the $10,052-to-win ‘Scott Sexton Memorial’ Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series/Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series co-sanctioned event at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN on Monday, May 31, 2021. These updates are brought to you by Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn. The next event will be the 17th annual Iron-Man Classic for the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series and the Brucebilt Modified Series on June 19, 2021.

General Information:

Weather Forecast: Daytime high in the upper 70s with nighttime lows dropping into the 60s with little to no chance for rain.

Drivers Meeting: 6:15pm

Feature Payout: $10,052-to-win. 52 laps

Track Description: 3/8 mile clay oval with banked turns.

Other Classes: 604 Crate Late Models and Open Wheel Modifieds are among the other classes in action.

This is a combination race for the Iron-Man Late Model Series and the Spring Nationals Series. It will serve as the finale for the Spring Nationals.

These two series held one other co-sanctioned race- the ‘Lil Bill Corum Memorial’ at Tazewell Speedway which was won by Jonathan Davenport.

Dale McDowell is closing in on his second Spring Nationals title. He won in 2019. There was no Spring Nationals Series in 2020.

Jensen Ford currently leads the Iron-Man Series standings over Michael Chilton and Ryan King.
