Weather Forecast: Partly cloudy with daytime highs in the 50’s and nighttime lows in the 40’s.

Time: Drivers meeting is set for 5:00pm with hot laps scheduled for 5:30.

Feature Payout: $10,000(40 laps)

Track Description: 4/10 mile clay oval

Pre-race Notes: This is the first race of the 2022 season for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

This is the first race of a three-day weekend at Golden Isles. The Friday and Saturday features will pay $12,000 and $15,000 respectively.

Tim McCreadie enters the 2022 season as the defending LOLMDS champion.

Lap 8 caution for flat on Shirley. T Erb had just passed Larson for the lead prior to the yellow. Thornton, Moran and Sheppard run 3-5. 

Lap 19 caution. Sheppard charged to the lead after that restart. Then Moran got by. Order is now Moran, Sheppard, T Erb, Thornton, Larson, Davenport, McCreadie, Bruening, O’Neal, Richards.
