General Information:
The drivers meeting is slated for 4:30pm with hot laps to follow soon afterward.
This is the season opener for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
Weather is expected to be dry with temperatures in the 50s.
5:00- Drivers meeting has concluded and hot laps should begin soon.
5:22- Hot laps underway.
Fastest in each hot lap group were Davenport, Sheppard, Overton, Hamm, McCreadie and McIntosh.
Overton and McCreadie were fastest overall in hot laps.
6:56- Scott Bloomquist is just now signing in. Hot laps and qualifying are already over.

*Moyer led all the way but Davenport made a move to his inside on lap 3 but Moyer held him off. O’Neal moved into the final transfer spot at midway.
Heat 2 Lineup- 1. Sheppard, 2. Weiss, 3. Pearson, 4. Overton, 5. Ligon, 6. Drown, 7. Larson, 8. Flinner
Heat 2 Finish- 1. Overton, 2. Sheppard, 3. Larson… Drown, Weiss
*Sheppard fell to 4th on the start. Pearson took 2nd on lap 1 with a three wide move. Pearson and Weiss spun on lap 3 while racing for the lead. Both Weiss and Pearson continued but were unable to get back to the transfer spots.

*Owens to the lead from Moran on lap 2 and drove away to a comfortable win.

*Richards took the lead away from McIntosh on lap 2 and drove on to win by the length of a straightaway.

*Lanigan took the lead early on. Bailes kept him in sight but never made a serious challenge.

*McCreadie led all the way.
Last Chance Race Results: There will be two B-mains with the top-3 from each transferring to the feature.
Bloomquist will start 16th in the first B-main after arriving late.
Eckert won the first B-main over Smith and Pearson. Bloomquist just ran at the back of the pack for a few laps then pulled off. He’ll use a provisional for the feature.
Heckenast won the second B-main ahead of Pettyjohn and Satterlee.

9:00- Feature lined up on the front stretch. 50 laps for $10,000.
Not sure why but Ross Bailes pulled off track before the start of pace laps. But he has returned. Looks like he is being sent to the tail of the field.
9:05- Four wide!
9:08- Green flag!
Lap 6 caution for spin involving multiple cars. Moyer leads Overton, Owens, Richards, Davenport, Lanigan, McCreadie, Sheppard, McIntosh.
Lap 8 caution for spin by D O’Neal. Moyer still leads but Owens got to second on the last restart. Overton, Davenport, Richards and McCreadie follow.
Halfway- Moyer leads Overton, McCreadie, Owens and Sheppard in heavy traffic.
Lap 37 caution. Bloomquist was right in front of the leaders and spun when Moyer went under him in an attempt to lap him. Moyer leads Overton, McCreadie, Owens, Sheppard, Davenport, Richards, Lanigan.
Moyer has stopped in turn 4 and is being pushed off. He’s going to the pit area and looks to be out.
