General Information:
This is the second part of a big weekend for the NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series.
Jason Welshan was the first to cross the finish line last night at the Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC but Ronnie Johnson was declared the winner due to a tire infraction discovered on Welshan’s car.
Ronnie Johnson enters the night with a slim lead over Mack McCarter in the NeSmith standings.

10:00- Green flag!
Caution on initial start for multi-car wreck. Arthur, Blount, Teague, Beeler among those involved. Arthur with significant damage but he will try to continue.
Beeler to hot pit with a flat tire. Incident appeared to start around 5th place as several cars got tangled which set off a chain reaction. Morrow was also involved and suffered some damage.
Lap 9 caution for multi-car wreck involving Stokes, Morrow, Arthur. Order is Elliott, Johnson, McCarter, Martin, Works, King, Anderson, Ford.
Very good racing so far.
Lap 12 caution for multi-car spin involving Ballenger, McMahan, Blount and Noah. No serious damage.
Elliott continues to lead but Johnson was challenging before the caution. McCarter, Martin and Works round out top-5.
Lap 14 caution for spin by Ford. Top-5 order same as listed above. 6-10 are Stokes, Henderson, Anderson, King and Arthur.
Lap 20 caution for spin by Blount. Elliott leads Johnson, McCarter, Martin and Stokes. Johnson made bid for the lead on lap 16 but lost momentum which allowed McCarter to 2nd briefly.
Lap 27 caution for Blount. Johnson took the lead with an outside pass around Elliott on lap 22.
Caution on the restart as Works and Martin tangle while racing for 4th. Now red flag as the two cars are tangled together and blocking the track. Martin is out.

Johnson took the lead on lap 22 and controlled the race from that point. There was a great battle behind him throughout the top-10.
