Classes in action: Chevrolet Performance Super Late Models for $3,000-to-win(50 laps), Crate Late Models for $800-to-win, Sportsman and other classes.
*These updates will focus primarily on the Chevy Super and Crate Late Models with other updates provided as timing of events allows.
General Information: The drivers meeting is slated to begin at 6:30pm with racing action to follow soon afterward.
Weather is expected to be warm and dry.
This is the first time the Chevrolet Performance SLM Series has ever visited Boyd’s Speedway.
After one race, Cory Hedgecock leads the series standings over Devin Dixon, Brandon Williams, Ross Martin and Zach Pilcher.

Lap 15- Caution free so far. J Smith leads Hedgecock, Hickman, A Smith, Knowles, Johnson. Leaders in traffic.
Lap 30 caution for Sparks slow on track. J Smith leads Hedgecock, Hickman, A Smith, Knowles, R Martin, Dixon, King and Johnson. Those are the cars on the lead lap. Dixon, King and Johnson were three-wide in front of the leader at time of caution.
Lap 33 caution for spin involving Gentry and George. J Smith leads Hedgecock, Hickman, A Smith, R Martin, Knowles, Dixon, King, Johnson.
Hedgecock dropped out on lap 38 in a shower of sparks.
Hickman passed J Smith on the outside on lap 45.

Lap 15 caution for one car incident on front stretch. J Deal took the lead on the start but Hunter passed him on lap 3 and then pulled away. Battle between Deal, Pritchard, Works and Elliott behind the leader has been intense.

Sportsman
Qualifying Results: Booger Brooks and Justin Winters won the two heat races for this class. They will start the feature from the front row.

Race had multiple cautions including a couple for big pileups.
