Live Updates: $21,000 Bill Corum Memorial at Tazewell(4-3-21)

InsideDirtRacing.com will be providing live updates from the $21,000-to-win ‘Lil Bill Corum Memorial’ Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals/Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series co-sanctioned event at Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, TN on Saturday, April 3, 2021. The updates will be provided by Richard Allen(@RichardAllenIDR on Twitter and @RichardAllenIDR on Instagram).

These updates are brought to you by Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn. The next event will be the ‘Rockin in the Smokies’ event featuring a $5,000-to-win Southern All Stars race for Super Late Models as well as a $5,000-to-win Steel Block Bandits race for Limited Late Models. This event will take place on April 17, 2021.

General Information:

Weather is expected to be cool with little to no chance for rain.

The drivers meeting is slated to begin at 5:30pm with hot laps and racing action to follow soon afterwards.

The Bill Corum Memorial race will be 75 laps for $21,000.

This is the first race of the 2021 season for the Spring Nationals.

Randy Weaver won the Iron-Man Late Model season opener at Boyd’s Speedway on January 30th.

This race was scheduled to take place last year but was cancelled due to coronavirus restrictions.

Lap 14 caution for Chilton loosing a wheel. Davenport leads Larson, Knuckles, Erb, McIntosh, McDowell. The leaders had just caught the tail of the field and Larson had closed in on Davenport.
