Feature Re-cap: The 40-lap feature took the green flag with Bronson at the front of the pack with Shirley, Hoffman, Dillard and Babb in arrears. Shirley and Hoffman battled for second on the second lap just before a yellow flag waved for the slowing car of English.

Just after that restart an incident involving Kyle Larson, Pierce, Moyer, Cooney and Feger brought out another yellow flag. Pierce was able to continue but Larson, Moyer, and Feger suffered enough damage that their nights ended early.

As the race moved to its middle stages, Bronson continued to lead over Shirley, Hoffman, Pierce and Clanton on a track that was proving to be a technical challenge for the drivers.

Hoffman took second away from Shirley on lap 29 as both of those drivers closed in on Bronson. Hoffman challenged for the lead on lap 32 but that battle opened the door for Shirley who regained second on lap 35.

It was at that point when the lead swapping began. Shirley passed Bronson for the top spot on lap 37 only to have Bronson retake the position on lap 38. Shirley was scored as the leader of lap 39 but Bronson used the outside lane to just edge Shirley at the checkered flag in a near photo finish.
