Jonathan Davenport turned in a dominating performance on Sunday night in the Hillbilly Hundred to claim his most lucrative Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series win of the season(Dirt Late Model Dream is not a series race). After taking the lead early on, the No. 49 car went to lead early on the build a big lead as the race ran from lap 4 to lap 84 under green.
The Longhorn Chassis driver from Blairsville, Georgia earned $30,000 from the track located in Middlebourne, WV in a race shown live by FloRacing.com.

Feature Re-cap: The 100-lap race took the green flag with Wilson leading Roberson, Davenport, Overton and O’Neal. However, a lap 4 caution for a spin by Pearson. Lake also incurred damage in the mishap.
Live timing and scoring stopped working just after the caution flag.
Following the restart, Wilson, Roberson and Davenport ran in tight formation with Davenport taking second. Roberson fell back into the clutches of Overton in a fight for fourth.
Davenport took the lead from Wilson as the front runners worked through slower traffic. The top-5 as the race reached the quarter mark was made up of Davenport, Wilson, Overton, Roberson and O’Neal.
O’Neal passed by Roberson but Roberson fought back to regain the spot as the laps added up during a long stretch of green flag racing. Davenport took that opportunity to build a significant lead over the field at the halfway point.
Just after halfway, Roberson, O’Neal and Hawkins were engaged in a fight for positions 4-6. At the same time, Davenport was lapping well within the top-15 including Smith with whom he had contact on lap 65.
Davenport lead with 25 circuits remaining with Wilson well back in second followed by Overton, Roberson and O’Neal.
A lap 84 caution for debris erased Davenport’s big lead. Wilson continued to run second with Overton, Roberson, O’Neal, Hawkins and Thornton behind. Thornton broke into the top-5 on the restart but a caution for a crash involving Smith brought out another yellow flag on lap 86.
Davenport still led at that time ahead of Wilson, Overton, Thornton, O’Neal Roberson and McCreadie. Thornton moved into a fight with Overton for third after the restart.
Top-10 running Roberson spun causing a caution on lap 91.
Although Wilson kept pace over the closing laps, Davenport maintained controlled and drove on to the victory.
