Jesse Lowe leaves CVR house car to return to own equipment

Jesse Lowe drove a few events in the CVR house car

After a brief stint as the driver of the CVR Race Cars house car, driver Jesse Lowe has mutually agreed to part ways with the CVR organization and owner Chip Vineyard. The Crossville, Tenn. native will drive his own cars for the remainder of the 2018 campaign.

Lowe plans to continue racing primarily in the Crate Late Model division using CVR cars along with the Eagle Racing Engines he has previously employed. He scored 23 feature wins in his own car in 2017.

Lowe released the news on his Facebook page with the following post:

*OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM JLM*

-Lowe back to driving personal car for 2018!-

After a few shows in the CVR House car myself and Chip came to a mutual agreement that has allowed me to go back to my equipment for the rest of 2018 season.

I am very thankful and appreciative for the opportunity Chip gave us, but it wasn’t what we, as a team, needed at the moment.

My family, my help, and my sponsors have a huge hand in my personal equipment. They get enjoyment out of working late nights in the shop and working on the car on race nights! With driving my own equipment I will be able to insure they still get that this season!

We will still be running our CVR Chassis powered by Eagle Race Engines. We will be utilizing Dream Racing Technologies for our shocks as well this season. We have a lot of our sponsors coming back on board along with some new ones that I am looking forward to bringing new business!

We, as a team, are looking forward to 2018! Our plans are still up in the air as we are still finalizing sponsors, but as soon as we get a schedule we post it!

Thank you for your support!
